Position Summary
The Project Officer Intern will assist in the planning, execution, and completion of various projects under the supervision of the Project Manager. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in project management, develop professional skills, and contribute to impactful projects.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning and Coordination:
o Assist in developing project plans, timelines, and budgets.
o Support the coordination of project activities, ensuring tasks are completed on time.
o Help organize and attend project meetings, preparing agendas and taking minutes.
Research and Analysis: o Data Collection and Cleaning: gather data relevant to project objectives, cleaning, and management of project data to ensure accuracy and reliability.
o Assist in analyzing data and preparing reports for project stakeholders. Use statistical software (e.g., R, SPSS, Excel) to conduct quantitative analysis, providing deeper insights into project performance and impact.
Communication and Documentation:
o Support the preparation of project documentation, including reports, presentations, and proposals.
o Maintain clear and effective communication with project team members and stakeholders.
o Assist in the creation and dissemination of project updates and newsletters.
Administrative Support: o Provide administrative support to the Project Manager and project team.
o Help manage project files and documentation, ensuring they are organized and accessible.
o Assist in scheduling meetings, events, and travel arrangements as needed.
Monitoring and Evaluation:
o Assist in tracking project progress and performance against established milestones and objectives.
o Help prepare monitoring and evaluation reports and identify areas for improvement.
Client and Stakeholder Engagement:
o Support engagement with clients and stakeholders, ensuring their needs and expectations are met.
o Assist in organizing and facilitating workshops, training sessions, and other project-related events.
Qualifications
• Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of a Bachelor’s degree program in Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
Preferred Qualifications • Prior experience or coursework in project management is a plus.
• Familiarity with project management software and tools.

Qualifications:
