As our portfolio of energy and development projects continues to grow, we are seeking to strengthen our team by engaging qualified Associates to support field-based assignments across the country. Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the following positions:

1. Associate Electrical Engineers (3 Positions)

INTERFINi is seeking to engage three (3) qualified Electrical Engineers to be part of the project team supporting electrical distribution and rural energy infrastructure assignments

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Development Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of working experience in electrical distribution infrastructure.
  • Registered as a Professional Engineer by the Engineers Registration Board (ERB).
  • Proven experience in field-based electrical works, supervision, and infrastructure projects.

2. Associate Renewable Energy Engineer (1 Position)

INTERFINi is seeking to engage a qualified Renewable Energy Engineer to support renewable energy and rural electrification projects.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Renewable Energy or related field.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of working experience in energy-related assignments.
  • Experience in renewable energy systems, field implementation, and technical support.
  • Familiarity with rural energy projects and site-based work is an added advantage.

3.Environmental Specialist (1 Position)

INTERFINi is seeking to engage a qualified Environmental Specialist to support environmental compliance and impact assessment activities within energy and infrastructure projects.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Management, Geography and Development, or closely related field.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of working experience in similar assignments.
  • Must have conducted at least five (5) Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) related assignments.
  • Registered by NEMC as a recognized Environmental Expert.
  • Experience in environmental and social compliance within infrastructure or energy projects.

Associate – Summary of Key Responsibilities

The Associates will support rural energy and infrastructure projects through field monitoring, verification, data management, and oversight activities across different regions of Tanzania.

  • Collecting baseline data and project information in line with established monitoring and evaluation frameworks, project guidelines, and contracts.
  • Conducting regular site visits to monitor project implementation against agreed milestones and verifying installations, equipment, and materials as per contractual requirements.
  • Supporting project evaluation activities and assessing the socio-economic impact of energy access interventions.
  • Ensuring proper documentation, reporting, and compliance with environmental, social, and gender considerations in project implementation.

These positions involve extensive field assignments across various regions of Tanzania
